Initiative to design voluntary carbon trading scheme

Carbon dioxide recovery technology agreement between MHI and NFL

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) has signed a license agreement for carbon dioxide recovery technology with National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a state fertilizer company in India.



NFL will use the technology to increase urea production at its existing Vijaipur Plant in Guna District, Madhya Pradesh State. The recovery units can capture 450 metric tons of CO2 per day, one of the world's largest capacities. The CO2 recovery plant is scheduled for completion in June…
